Makeup, hairstyle, dress and accessories.
First of all, Anna got a new head. She has blue glass eyes, size: 4 mm (1/6 scale).
She is painted not with Genesis paints, but with Decoart acrylic paints (burnt umber + black for eyeliner, cherry blossom pink + deep red for lips and blush). Very easy and very affordable. Dries fast. Clean up the mistakes with acetone on q-tips or mini g-tips.
The eyelashes are made out of Tibetan lamb as described on Fortuna Post
By the way, new better chest/hip connectors have arrived! I quickly tried them, they work nicely, I am looking forward to using them on the next doll.
The hair is made out of Tibetan Lamb fur. The same way as here: Step by Step – How to Make This Hair.

Looks really good. Then what did you put on the hair to make it stay curled? Water? What is filling the boots so you can put the legs into them?

The boots are made of out clay. They screw on, this is for convenience, the head, hands and boots are removable, so that they can be made separately and “put on”.
This is *amazing*. Thank you again for sharing this project. I think I may have finally found a way to make posable dolls with Prosculpt, which I’ve occasionally had crack at ball joints in the past. But the stronger clays are too hard on my arthritic hands. I love to sculpt with it and I think these strong joints you’ve come up with are the answer for me.
Yes! that is exactly what I am trying to do – make posable doll which has stronger joints than clay BJD. 🙂
