The body is made out of naked foam, sewing together with regular sewing thread with a regular sewing needle and an extra long sewing needle

Those silicone remnants in the mixing cup make thin stretchy silicone ribbons and can be useful – in this case, for the neck. They can be also shredded with scissors and add as a filler in the next batch of silicone.

I am still working on the neck – building up by adding more silicone ribbons, shortening the neck by setting the head lower on the rod, etc. After I am happy with the overall size and the clothes are made, I will fill the crack between the neck and the head with silicone for a seamless connection and the neck will bend. Also, again, after the clothes are made, I will permanently attach the hands and feet to the armature with epoxy and fill the cracks between silicone and foam with fresh silicone to finish them off. Right now all 5 modules (head, hands, feet) are still removable – for ease with clothing.
